May 25, 2008

Saturday

This afternoon My Home Schooler went to a local church where the youth group met.

They had a sleepover and ate a maize kind of porridge for dinner and its left overs for breakfast this morning

The event was because of the 40 hour famine

They themed their get together on South Africa because that is where the $$ is going and because the youth group leader is South African

The boys made these cool toys

The hand piece really makes the ‘car’ steer

and the girls made corncob dolls (later I reminded My home schooler that Laura had one of those)

My Home Schooler slept in a cardboard box and he and the youth group leader apparently kept one of the girls awake with their snoring LOL

Sunday after church

My Home Schooler got creative

He also played with our stencils
